“City of Cadiz” International Puppet Festival

Throughout May, Cadiz hosts one of the city's unmissable events: The International Puppet Festival.Families and people of all ages enjoy the puppet and marionette shows every year. The festival features renowned artistic companies from Spain and other countries and presents proposals and activities aimed at both children and young audiences.The shows take place in different squares, public spaces and stages, such as the Falla Theatre, the Baluarte de la Candelaria, the Tía Norica Puppet Theatre or the Sala Central Lechera.
