Burela tuna festival

A festival for enjoying white tuna in a regional tuna fishing centre, Burela (Lugo).

The food fair takes place on the dock and is the core of the festival. Here you can enjoy portions of albacore or white tuna in a variety of recipes: charcoal grilled, braised, in pies, and more. During the day the fun is usually accompanied by bagpipes, and at night there are concerts. A fair of organic and artisanal products is held at the same time, as well as exhibitions, film screenings, and panel discussions on environmental and ecological subjects.
