Exhibition: Paul Pfeiffer. Prologue to the history of the birth of freedom

Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao will host the largest exhibition of this artist in Europe, with around thirty pieces of his work, covering his entire career. During the tour, through two rooms of the museum, the visitor will be able to contemplate how the author has evolved through iconic works based, on the one hand, on the intensity of the narratives of sports and religion and, on the other, those that address the legacy of colonialism and the identity aspects it entails.

The work of the American artist is characterised by the depth with which he analyses the nature of the spectacle and the mechanisms used to construct images in contemporary culture. All through video, sculpture and photography.
