Exhibition: Occidens

Pamplona and its cathedral invite you to discover the origins of the West through this experimental exhibition that covers various stages of history using new technologies.

Visitors can listen to the real voices of the Leire monks singing Gregorian chants or see reconstructions of ancient settlements based on the archaeological remains on display.The tour also showcases the cathedral’s stunning Gothic cloister and features relics, crosses and Marian sculptures. It also has electronic devices where visitors can view some of the oldest documents from the cathedral's archive (from the 11th to 15th centuries), such as the Hebrew Bible and the Pamplona Breviary.he exhibition encourages reflection on values such as democracy, the rule of law, freedom of conscience, the morality of love and human rights.
