Menorca Talayotic Exhibition. World Heritage designation

Menorca

The Menorca Museum offers the opportunity to discover, through an immersive presentation, the Talayotic culture and the uniqueness of the island's prehistoric monuments, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2023.

The exhibition reveals the uniqueness of Talayotic architecture and its close relationship with the Menorcan landscape, with which it has coexisted for more than 2,600 years. In addition to a small set of over 150,000 pieces dating back to the period from the Bronze Age to the Iron Age that are part of the museum's collection, visitors can also view a 3D map showing the location of the most representative Talayotic monuments on the island and interact with various panels that offer insights and amusing information about this unique archaeological heritage.
